What is the Josh Crews Creative Writing Club?
Fueled by a deep love of reading and writing, the Josh Crews Creative Writing Club honors Josh Crews' legacy by empowering the next generation of storytellers. Through this Flagler County Education Foundation initiative, students gain a dedicated space to express themselves through prose, poetry, and essays. The program's cornerstone is Write On!, an annual printed anthology that brings student voices to life and culminates in a book launch where young writers are officially recognized as published authors. Today, the club flourishes across the entire Flagler School District, including Imagine School at Town Center, with several campuses expanding to support two active chapters.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop a lifelong skill and experience the pride of becoming a published writer.

The ability to express oneself and inspire others is a gift that lasts a lifetime. Through the Josh Crews Writing Project, young authors discover the joy of storytelling and experience the unforgettable thrill of becoming published writers. Seeing their words bound in print creates an inspiring environment that builds lasting confidence and sparks a lifelong passion for literature.
Established in loving memory of Flagler Palm Coast High School graduate Josh Crews, this initiative celebrates a young man who adored language, loved people, and never met a stranger. Though Josh was lost far too soon, his generous spirit lives on each time a child picks up a pen, finds their voice, and steps into a brighter future through this life-altering program.
